Molokai offers approximately 30 miles of reef on the southern shore and is protected from dangerous ocean swells by Lanai Island.
Some snorkelling sites for you to explore are
Follow the Kam V Highway to the end then take dirt road another 50 yards. Has a small reef in the middle of the bay, water can sometimes be murky, has a nice picnic area and restrooms are available.
MURPHY BEACH PARK also known as KUMIMI BEACH

DIXIE MARU BEACH OR KAPUKAHEHU BEACH
Was named after the Japanese sailboat the Dixie Maru which was wrecked offshore in the 1920’s. To get there go along Kaluakoi Road to Hakuloa Road, turn towards the ocean then follow road to the end. The best time to go snorkelling is in Summer when the ocean water tends to be a lot calmer. If you want to explore the tidal rockpools make sure you wear water shoes because of the sharp lava rocks. There are no facilities or lifeguard available.
